Kit

Service & Maintenance Manager

Bio.

Kit grew up in Leicestershire before heading to Australia shortly after his 21st birthday — a move that marked the start of his career in the HVAC industry (and probably a slight upgrade in weather).

He began as a sheet metal worker in ductwork manufacturing before moving into site-based operations as a duct fitter with an air conditioning installation contractor. Over the next six years, Kit worked on large-scale commercial air conditioning projects, gaining hands-on experience across complex systems and developing a strong understanding of project delivery from installation right through to commissioning.

After returning to the UK, Kit stepped into leadership roles within remedials and projects, including Remedial Project Supervisor, Remedial Service Delivery Manager, and Head of Projects. These roles strengthened his expertise in operational management, commercial oversight, client liaison, and team leadership.

Now, as Service & Maintenance Manager at Nitor Ventilation, Kit leads the division responsible for service delivery, compliance, operational performance, and long-term client asset management strategies, essentially making sure buildings keep breathing properly, and clients stay happy.

Before officially joining Nitor, Kit had worked alongside the team on several projects and was consistently impressed by their technical knowledge and standards, which made the move an easy decision.

What Kit values most about working at Nitor is the strong family culture and the constant support from colleagues — proving that even with serious technical expertise, you can still have a solid team environment behind you.
